COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br />lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br />later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into multi -year leases for <br />five (5) years, for nine (9) mid -size 4x4 trucks; and <br />WHEREAS, these trucks will be utilized by the Department of Parks and <br />Recreation's Parks Maintenance Division and are needed to perform work duties <br />to maintain clean and safe park facilities island wide; and <br />WHEREAS, these trucks will replace nine (9) inoperable vehicles within the <br />Department's current fleet; now therefore, <br />1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into five (5) year leases <br />for the equipment as indicated above, for the Department of Parks <br />and Recreation. <br />2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br />anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the <br />agreement. <br />
