Chapter 19 was initially enacted by <br /> Ordinance No. 613 in 1981 when the County officially took <br /> over the real property tea function from the State. <br /> Durinq the past sixteen years, Chapter 19 has been amended <br /> on several occasions and our experience has proven certain <br /> provisions to be obsolete. Our submittal is restricted to <br /> what we consider to be technical amendments. <br /> We recognize that it may also be appropriate to consider <br /> policy changes; however, we believe that a two-phase <br /> effort will be less confusing and more orderly.
