In 2,,000 characters or less, describe the measurable outcomes you aim to achieve with these funds. <br />The Kohala Heritage Center (KHC) will use these funds to expand public access to historical and cultural resources through <br />the media center and reading corner. The media center will provide computers and research tools for Hawaiian studies,, <br />enabling students and community members to document and share Kohala"s heritage. The reading corner will support self - <br />guided learning and research using gifted books. Success will be measured by the number of programs, exhibits, and <br />displays created, as well as participation rates among students, kupuna, residents., and visitors. These metrics will help us <br />assess engagement and the Center's impact on heritage education. KHC will provide a welcoming space for over 100,.000 <br />annual visitors to North Kohala to learn about local history, cultural traditions, and the natural landscape. <br />
