Investigative information that a State Psychology <br />2 Regulatory Authority, after a preliminary inquiry that <br />3 includes notification and an opportunity to respond if <br />4 required by state law, has reason to believe, if proven <br />5 true, would indicate more than a violation of state <br />6 statute or ethics code that would be considered more <br />7 substantial than minor infraction; or <br />8 2. Investigative information that indicates that the <br />9 psychologist represents an immediate threat to public <br />10 health and safety regardless of whether the psychologist <br />11 has been notified and/or had an opportunity to respond. <br />12 Y. "State" means: a state, commonwealth, territory, or <br />13 possession of the United States, the District of Columbia. <br />14 Z. "State Psychology Regulatory Authority" means: the <br />15 Board, office or other agency with the legislative mandate to <br />16 license and regulate the practice of psychology. <br />17 AA. "Telepsychology" means: the provision of <br />18 psychological services using telecommunication technologies. <br />19 BB. "Temporary Authorization to Practice" means: a <br />20 licensed psychologist's authority to conduct temporary in- <br />21 person, face-to-face practice, within the limits authorized <br />22 under this Compact, in another Compact State. <br />25-068d <br />
