The 2025 Na Hoa Cup Tournament marks the 15th year of this beloved community 5v5 soccer event hosted by Na Hoa o
Puna Soccer Club, a member organization of No N5'Opio, a Hawaii Island —based nonprofit dedicated to empowering
youth through sports, culture, and community engagement. The 2025 tournament will also honor the life and legacy of
founder Justin "Buddy" Perry, whose vision built Na Hoa o Puna into a thriving'ohana for athletes and families across
Hawaii Island. Held December 13-14, 2025, at Buddy Perry Soccer Fields in Kea'au, the tournament promotes physical
wellness, cultural pride, and'ohana values through a weekend of high-energy play, 'ono local food, and live
entertainment —including the popular Sunday Community Concert. This milestone year celebrates 15 years of aloha,
teamwork, and Hawaiian hospitality —inviting families from all moku of Hawari Island as well as teams from other
counties to gather, cheer, and grind at the'ono concession while celebrating the joy of community sport. The Na Hoa Cup
fulfills a public purpose by advancing youth and community recreation through accessible, island -wide participation in
organized sport, promoting health and wellness for more than 600 youth and adult athletes, supporting culture and the
arts by integrating Hawaiian values, protocol, and mele throughout the event, and strengthening the local economy
through engagement of small businesses, food vendors, and local musicians. CRF funds will help cover safety equipment
costs, porta-potty rentals, event -related supplies and technology, and food for volunteers who make this large-scale
community event possible. The Na Hoa Cup Tournament provides a direct public benefit by promoting healthy living,
celebrating culture, and inspiring Hawari Island's youth to play, lead, and thrive —together, in the true spirit of aloha.
