Several Hawaiian organizations <br />representing families of the Pohoiki area have come together and <br />additional partners should be sought. <br />• Partner with hospitality industry and support tour operators, guides, <br />and docents to connect visitors to education programs <br />Develop and sustain stewardship programs for Pohoiki area: <br />• Talk story with organizations stewarding Pohoiki <br />• Identify and pilot possible stewardship experiences <br />• Offer, scale up, and expand stewardship experiences <br />• Continue and sustain ongoing stewardship practices and programs in <br />the Pohoiki area, including building on the outcomes of the <br />Honuaiakea** process that was conducted by Edith Kanaka'ole <br />Foundation to support the Pohoiki 'Ghana NPOs that have stewarded <br />the area for generations. <br />• Continue and sustain efforts of Pohoiki 'Ghana NPOs to organize and <br />conduct events that educate residents and visitors about cultural <br />practices that protect and preserve wahi pana and natural resources of <br />the area. <br />
