47. According to §2-136, "public purpose" is defined as a benefit to, improvement of, or promotion of the <br />interests in the following areas. In 2,000 characters or less, describe the measurable outcomes you aim to achieve with these <br />funds. <br />As the community becomes more aware of environmental resource concerns, it is expected that more landowners — <br />including the County and State of Hawari—will reduce herbicide spraying, increase vegetative cover, and plant <br />additional native trees. The anticipated outcomes include cleaner water, healthier soils, increased carbon <br />sequestration, and progress toward addressing climate change. <br />
