In 2,000 characters or less, describe the project. <br />The International Hawaii Fruit Festival is an annual celebration of the island's diverse tropical fruits, bringing together <br />farmers, artisans, and cultural practitioners for a vibrant community event at Hale Halawai in downtown Kailua-Kona. <br />The festival features a lively marketplace with fresh produce, local arts and crafts, food trucks, and live entertainment. <br />Attendees can enjoy fruit tastings, educational farm tours, and interactive activities that highlight Hawaii s agricultural <br />abundance and cultural heritage. Designed as a fun and family -friendly gathering, the event offers residents and <br />visitors an engaging way to connect with the island's flavors, creativity, and community spirit. <br />*46. 501(c)(3) Mission Statement <br />To offer educational and purposeful options for self and global renewal through the dynamic interconnectedness of <br />sustainability and spirituality and provide information to promote a healthful and vibrant vegan lifestyle. <br />*47. In 1,000 characters or less, explain how the 501(c)(3) is connected to the project. <br />The Sanctuary of Mana Kda Gardens is directly connected to the International Hawaii Fruit Festival as its primary <br />sponsor and organizer. The nonprofit organization supports and hosts community agricultural festivals to celebrate <br />local produce and Hawaiian culture. Through these events, the Sanctuary advances its mission of promoting <br />sustainability, spiritual renewal, healthful living, and community engagement. In addition, the Sanctuary offers <br />organizational leadership, volunteer coordination, and event resources, ensuring the festivals are free, educational, <br />family -friendly, and aligned with their goals of fostering local agriculture, cultural preservation, and vibrant community <br />participation. <br />*48.
