EXHIBIT A <br /> Kilauea Recovery Grant Program Year 3 <br /> January 2026 <br /> Malama O Puna Project will fund permitting and planning for $215,600.00 <br /> Hawaiian Shores Water a backup well for the Hawaiian Shores <br /> Resiliency Project Community Association, whose water system <br /> serves a rapidly growing, eruption-displaced <br /> population. After a major 2024 well outage <br /> and rising demand,the backup well is needed <br /> now to ensure water reliability, resiliency, <br /> and long-term public health for over 1,500 <br /> residents. <br /> Pahoa Lava Zone Museum The project will rebuild 1.25 miles of lava- $203,887.00 <br /> inundated roadway in lower Puna, restoring <br /> Railroad Avenue Restoration safe, legal access after the 2018 Kilauea <br /> eruption. The project reopens a critical <br /> evacuation and transportation corridor, <br /> improves emergency response, restores <br /> deeded access, and supports community <br /> recovery and long-term regional resilience. <br /> Na Maka Ha1oa o Waipi`o Project will restore and protect a sacred lava- $151,100.00 <br /> tube site in Waikahekahe Nui, Puna, <br /> Ku`ialuaopuna Restoration containing iwi kupuna and living cultural <br /> and Stewardship practice. Grant funds support fencing, safety <br /> infrastructure, permitting, and `aina <br /> restoration to ensure secure access, <br /> environmental stability, and long-term <br /> cultural stewardship under NAGPRA and <br /> Hawaii law. <br /> Malama O Puna Project will replace the Vacationland $140,940.00 <br /> subdivision water system destroyed in the <br /> Kapoho Kai Water System 2018 Kilauea eruption. With ground <br /> Restoration temperatures now safe, new distribution lines <br /> will extend from the County's restored main <br /> to serve remaining private lots, support <br /> rebuilding and agriculture, and coordinate <br /> closely with the subdivision HOA and <br /> Department of Water Supply. <br /> SHAC Foundation Project will upgrade greenhouse facilities, $123,626.00 <br /> including water, electricity, workspaces, and <br /> Infrastructure for Floriculture covers, to expand their floriculture <br /> Workforce Development workforce-development program. The <br /> improvements support training in orchid and <br /> macadamia nut propagation, accommodate <br /> college interns, and provide apprentices with <br /> skills for agriculture careers and <br /> entrepreneurship. <br /> 2 <br />
