46. According to §2-136, "public purpose" is defined as a benefit to, improvement of, or promotion of the <br />interests in the following areas. Please select all the public benefits to be derived from your County fund <br />request: <br />Educational concerns <br />Needs of the poor, youth, the aged, those with physical or emotional disabilities <br />Public health and welfare of the people and the environment <br />47. In 2,000 characters or less, describe the measurable outcomes you aim to achieve with these <br />funds. <br />The nine raised beds are projected to produce approximately 1,728 pounds of produce annually. Participants will <br />record the quantity of food harvested during each six-month growing season. Fruit and nuts grown in the communal <br />areas will also be tracked. Additionally, participants will log the hours they spend helping maintain the communal <br />garden. OVCA anticipates hosting 2-3 special events or educational classes at the garden each month, with <br />attendance tracked and recorded. These measures will provide quantifiable outcomes demonstrating the garden's <br />contributions to local food production, community engagement, and educational opportunities. <br />
