I 111 11111 11 1 <br />011111,11 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 111111;1'11511�1111111 1111111, 111 11111 - 1• <br />Council in order for the County to enter into an agreement with the federal government or any <br />other public body respecting action to be taken pursuant to any of the powers granted to the <br />County by law and furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance in connection with <br />projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers; and <br />WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />(hereinafter, "HUD") has authorized an estimated $2,970,000 in federally derived funds to be <br />provided to the County as grants for activities and projects in the 2026 Annual Action Plan; and <br />"OHM") wishes to enter into an agreement with HUD to receive grant funds from the <br />Community Development Block Grant (hereinafter, "CDBG") and the Emergency Solutions <br />Grant (hereinafter, "ESG"); and <br />WHEREAS, through Resolution No. 105-25, dated April 16, 2025, the County adopted <br />the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, which is a five-year plan indicating the County's goals and <br />priorities for the use of CDBG and ESG funds for housing, homelessness, special needs, and <br />community development; and <br />MIMI <br />
