Currently, keiki are riding skateboards, <br />scooters, and other equipment in the street and in the congested parking lot. People of all ages will benefit from this <br />park, which will provide a constructive and positive place for active recreation. This type of recreation is at least an <br />hour's drive in each direction, making it inaccessible to this underserved, low-income community. The organization <br />plans to implement learn -to -ride and mentorship programs once the park is built and to build a community around it <br />where keiki and families can form friendships. <br />
