No. 823/Bill No. 150 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 150, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 150, transmitted by Public Works Director Wesley Segawa via Communication <br />No. 823, dated March 30, 2026, amends Ordinance No. 25-45, as amended, the Operating Budget <br />of the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. <br />This bill appropriates revenues in the State Grants — Safe Routes to School —Non-Infrastructure <br />account ($50,344); and appropriates the same to the Safe Routes to School —Non-Infrastructure <br />account. <br />Public Works Director Wesley Segawa, Deputy Building Chief Aaron Spielman, and Engineering <br />Chief Keone Thompson were present for questions. <br />Committee Member Dennis "Fresh" Onishi asked if these funds can be utilized to help support the <br />funding to build items for the programs.
