��,,tt�iy O� y <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 557 2G <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO RETURN GRANT FUNDS PREVIOUSLY <br />AWARDED BY RESOLUTION NO.245-25. <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 245-25, adopted by the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />on July 23, 2025, transferred an appropriation of $3,000 from Contingency Relief funds to the <br />Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, this appropriation was intended to be utilized to award a grant to USA <br />Volleyball Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for expenses relating to the 2025 Hawaii <br />Island Labor Day Classic Volleyball Tournament; and <br />WHEREAS, USA Volleyball Inc., is returning funds that were not used from Resolution <br />No. 245-25, in the amount of $1,150; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to return the unused funds <br />back to the Council; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that the <br />following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: GENERAL <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,150 <br />OUT AND FROM: 1010-51-50302 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />P&R Admin OCE <br />Misc.
