Kekai <br />Deputy Director <br />Attached is my certification of net taxable real property within the County of Hawai'i for <br />the 2026-2027 tax year. This certification is furnished in compliance with Chapter 19, <br />Article 11, Section 19-90(d) of the Hawai'i County Code, as amended. <br />The total value of net taxable real property is $56,854,635,650. This amount is <br />$1,518,063,650 higher than the previous year. This represents a 2.74 percent increase <br />compared to the previous tax year. The estimated gross value of new residential <br />construction is $500,779,200 and commercial construction is $34,472,800. <br />A total of 188 appeals were filed, as compared to 198 appeals in the previous year. The <br />amount in dispute is $111,822,300 compared to $120,999,600 in the previous year. <br />Enclosed please find details of the assessed valuations by zones, classes of property, <br />exemptions and appeals.
