41.61OSH_± ' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - _ •: STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 568 26 <br /> A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE FOURTH AND FINAL GRADUATING CLASS <br /> OF THE HAWAI`I NATIONAL GUARD JOB CHALLENGE ACADEMY LOCATED <br /> AT THE KEAUKAHA NIILITARY RESERVATION IN HILO. <br /> WHEREAS,the committed Associates of the Hawai`i National Guard Job Challenge <br /> Academy have much to be proud as they are the fourth and final graduating class of the career- <br /> based program at Keaukaha Military Reservation; and <br /> WHEREAS,these Job Challenge Academy (hereinafter"JCA")Associates are former <br /> Youth Challenge Academy (hereinafter"YCA") graduates,who have not only completed the <br /> Basic Challenge Program in the youth program, but now chose to further enhance their future <br /> through JCA; and <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, JCA is an optional,five-month residential program for young adults,aged <br /> seventeen through twenty years old, YCA graduates,who desire to further their opportunities for <br /> success through post-secondary education credentials, such as certificates of course completion <br /> or industry-based certificates,facilitating their transition into the workforce as employable <br /> individuals; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that this <br /> body hereby recognizes the fourth and final graduating class of the Hawaii National Guard Job <br /> Challenge Academy and their achievements in successfully completing the JCA program. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council joins the Associates in celebrating <br /> their graduation on May 22,2026. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this <br /> resolution to the Honorable Joshua B. Green,M.D., Governor of the State of Hawai`i;the <br />
