He explained that the excused column on the voting block is for marking if a Council <br />Member has declared a conflict of interest and recused themselves from voting. <br />Committee Member Ashley L. Kierkiewicz said that she is in support of the resolution and would <br />be in support of this rule also applying to the committee meetings. Member Kierkiewicz said that <br />they are a body of nine and a committee of the whole for each committee and that this would help <br />increase clarity and transparency regarding attendance. She offered to work with Member Inaba on <br />drafting language that includes committees as well as council attendance. Member Inaba said that <br />he would work on that. <br />Committee Chair Jenn Kagiwada stated that she always read the term `regularly scheduled Council <br />Meetings" as including committee meetings as they are a committee of the whole.
