J�.(V Of "•'•'• <br />Jib•, <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I `• STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8 26 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF LATER FISCAL <br />YEARS TO ENTER INTO A MULTI -YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT FOR ONE WIDE - <br />FORMAT COLOR DIGITAL IMAGING SYSTEM TO BE USED BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS. Section 10-11 of the Charter of the County of Hawaii (hereinafter "the <br />Chaner") provides, in part, that "any contract, lease or other ociigation requiring the payment of <br />funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year shall be made <br />or approved by resolution"; and <br />WHEREAS. the Department of Public Works (hereinafter "the Department") wishes to <br />enter into a multi -year lease agreement, with a term of five years, for one wide format color <br />multifunction copy machine with digital imaging capability; and <br />WHEREAS. the Department estimates the annual cost of this lease agreement to be <br />$4,191.93; and <br />WHEREAS, this copy machine will be utilized in Hilo by County personnel within the <br />3c;;a,-t.nent's Traffic Division; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease agreement for the wide format color multifunction copy machine <br />that is currently utilized by the Department has expired; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a multi -year lease agreement with a tern of five years <br />for the purposes hereinabove described. <br />
