No. 892/Res. No. 569-26 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 569-26, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 569-26, transmitted by Public Works Director Wesley Segawa via Communication <br />No. 892, dated April 29, 2026, authorizes the payment of funds from later fiscal years to enter into a <br />multi -year lease agreement for warehouse space used by the Department of Public Works. <br />This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year lease agreement with Geo Investment <br />Company, Inc., for warehouse space located at 73-4081 Hulikoa Drive, with an initial security <br />deposit of $4,896, and an estimated monthly cost of approximately $3,240 for the first year and <br />increasing thereafter. <br />Public Works Business Manager Kelsey Kalua-Lewis was present in Chambers. <br />Committee Chair Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder stated that the Mass Transit Agency may be looking <br />for a warehouse in this area as well and suggested combining the two requests and sharing a <br />warehouse between the departments to be a little more fiscally responsible.
