Improvement Association (DIA). I am here to testify
in regard to Bill 54.
The DIA is against the proposal to permanently establish Kinoole
Street between Ponahawai Street and Kukuau Street as a one-way
street in the Puna direction. Our concern is that such action will
move the mauka entrance into Downtown an additional two blocks
away to Ululani Street.
We have no problem with reverting Kukuau Street to its original
mauka bound one-way pattern.
Should the final decision provide for the extension of one-way traffic
on Kinoole Street to Kukuau, then the DIA respectfully requests that
appropriate signage directing traffic into Downtown be placed at the
intersections of Kinoole and Ululani streets and at Ululani and Kilauea
Avenue.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,

/e.~x~z-~,t-~ ~~c lz-t i,tz-?~,~
Roxanne Aburamen
Vice-President
~o. 176 . o
~o.
