As part of the first increment, driveway access from Puainako Street and, if <br /> allowed by the owner(s), Awapuhi Street shall meet with the approval of the <br /> Department of Public Works. Further, access from Kancelehua Avenue, if <br /> allowed by the State Department of Transportation, shall be provided meeting <br /> with said agency's requirements. The driveway access from Puainako Street <br /> shall be limited to right-turn in and right-turn out traffic movements only. Said <br /> improvements shall also include a deceleration lane along the Puainako Street <br /> frontage for the approach into the driveway with adequate sight distance for <br /> vehicles entering and exiting the subject properties. <br /> Further, a traffic signal light or a "round about" system at the intersection of <br /> Pilipaa and Puainako Streets shall be installed prior to issuance of occupancy <br /> permit for any commercial development within the first increment. <br /> H. The applicant shall construct roadway unprovements on the south side of <br /> Puainako Street, along the subject properties' frontage, consisting of pavement <br /> widening, concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk including drainage improvements <br /> within the road widening setback area. The road widening sections and the <br /> roadway unprovements shall be subdivided and dedicated to the County of <br /> Hawaii upon its completion. If required, relocate utilities and install street <br /> lights, signs and traffic markings, meeting the approval of the Department of <br /> Public Works, Traffic Division. <br /> -4- <br /> <br />
