Access: Access is proposed from Hinano Street, which is a County roadway. As this <br /> request is for a commercial use, the Depaztment of Public Works is recommending that <br /> Hinano Street be widened to a 50-foot nght-of--way, from its current 40-foot right-of--way. <br /> Big Island Candies has provided roadway improvements on Hinano Street to a 50-foot <br /> right of way. Water: According to the Department of Water Supply, water is available to the site from <br /> a 5/8-inch meter on the 6-inch waterline in Hinano Street. The applicant is presently <br /> entitled to 600 gallons per day, although future wmmercial uses may require more. The <br /> Department of Water Supply is requiring the installation of a backflow preventer. <br /> <br /> 24. Wastewater: According to the applicants, wastewater will be disposed of through a <br /> County sewer line fronting the sublect properties. <br /> <br /> 25. Otber Essential Utilities and Services: Police, fire protection and emergency medical <br /> services aze located approxinately two miles from the site.
