In addition, we obtained from the Department of Public <br /> Works approximate costs for the construction of a bridge over Wailuku River as well as <br /> crossings over tributaries on lands on the Hamakua side of Wailuku River to Amauulu Road. <br /> We provide you with the following information. <br /> 1. A proposed 80-foot wide bridge over Wailuku River at the proposed <br /> Komohana Street Extension would be approximately 450 feet in length. Cost <br /> is estimated at $17 million including abutment and piers. <br /> 2. A proposed 80-foot wide bridge over Wailuku River in the vicinity of Akolea <br /> Road would be approximately 500 feet in length.
