COUNTY OF IIAWI`I STATE OF' IIt~W~~I`I RESOLU'T'ION NO. ~ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR AMULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR A COPY MACHINE WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5) years for one (1) copy machine for the Clerical Services Center, Office of Management; and WHEREAS, this office does not have a copy machine so staff must make copies at other locations; and WHEREAS, copies are required for 75% of the work done by this office; and WHEREAS, acquisition of this machine will increase efficiency and productivity of the office staff. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE® BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement of a copy machine for the Clerical Services Center of the Office of Management. 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this Gtr, day of July , 2001.
