Draft 2, in Ramseyer format, reflects a proposed <br /> 10% across-the-board increase for the Hawaii County Band and the West Hawaii <br /> County Band pay schedule and the inclusion of the Student Helper I & II class of <br /> work for the Department of Environmental Management. <br /> At the May 15th Finance Committee meeting, it was questioned as to what was the <br /> effective date of the State's minimum wage increase that affects the Student <br /> Helper/Intern pay rate. The proposed date of this increase is January 1, 2002. We <br /> will, therefore, submit a resolution at a later date to amend the pay rates of the <br /> Student Helper I & II, Student Intern, and Senior Community Services Aid classes in <br /> the Salary Ordinance. <br /> Should you have any questions, please feel free to call the Department of Civil <br /> Service. <br /> William T.
