Thus, the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation reviewed the pay schedules and is proposing a 10%across-the-board <br /> increase for the Hawaii County Band and the West Hawaii County Band pay <br /> schedules. <br /> The Cavncii also questioned the effective date of the State"s minimum wage <br /> increase as it affects the Student Helper/Intern pay rate. The proposed date of <br /> increase is January 1, 2002. We will, therefore, submit a resolution at a later date <br /> to amend the pay rates of the Student Helper 18~ II, Student Intern, and Senior <br /> Community Services Aid classes in the Salary Ordinance. <br /> Enclosure <br /> c: Budget <br /> <br />
