Hawaii County Council Page 4 June 6, 2001 BILLS FOR ORDINANCES (FIRST READING) Bill 55: Adopts a pay plan for persons employed by the County other than those whose pay is otherwise provided for, designating payroll periods, pay days, prescribing requirements with respect to official fidelity bonds, and repealing Ordinance No. 00-65 and all amendments thereto, said ordinance to be known as the Salary Ordinance of 2001; Re: Comm. 200 Intr. by: Mr. Chung Approved: FC-75 and Comm. 200.1: From Mayor Harry Kim, dated May 22, 2001, transmitting a proposed Draft 2 to Bill 55; and Bill 55: Adopts a pay plan for persons employed by the County other than those (Draft 2) whose pay is otherwise provided for, designating payroll periods, pay days, prescribing requirements with respect to official fidelity bonds, and repealing Ordinance No. 00-65 and all amendments thereto, said ordinance to be known as the Salary Ordinance of 2001. Bill 59: Authorizes the issuance of $8,000,000 general obligation bonds of the County of Hawai i for the purpose of financing various water system improvements of the Department of Water Supply of the County of Hawaii; fixing the form, denominations, and certain other details of such bonds and providing for their sale to the public; and authorizing the issuance and sale of a like principal amount of general obligation bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of such bonds.
