REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS & <br /> INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS <br /> DATE: August 1, 2001 RE: Communication No. 243.1 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom (Res. 102-01) <br /> TIME: 9:08 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred Communication No. 243.1 and <br /> attached Resolution No. 102-01, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 243.1 is from Assistant Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase transmitting for council review and <br /> consideration Resolution No. 102-O1 authorizing the conveyance and acceptance of a license between KRC Building, Inc. <br /> and the County of Hawaii for a parcel located at Honuaino ls`° North Kona, Hawaii and identified as being portions of <br /> Tax Map Key (3) 7-9-009:21 and 051. Exhibit A delineating the property and right-of--way and an Encroachment License <br /> Agreement are also attached to Communication No. 243.1. <br /> Resolution No. 102-O1 was submitted as a redrafted version of Resolution No. 92-O1. Resolution No. 92-01 originally <br /> requested the authorization to grant and accept an easement for this parcel. This change from an easement to a license <br /> warranted that a new number be assigned to the redrafted version of the resolution. The introduction of Resolution <br /> <br /> No. 102-O1 made Resolution No. 92-O1 unnecessary and consequently, it was filed. <br /> During the meeting, Councilmember Tyler proposed several amendments for discussion. The fourth whereas clause was <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> 1.
