No. 116-01 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:50 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 116-01, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 116-01, transmitted by Fire Chief Edward Bumatay, via Communication <br /> No. 317, dated August 16, 2001, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from the <br /> Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Fund. <br /> <br /> The Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Fund has graciously donated $6,954.71 to the Hawaii County <br /> <br /> Fire Department to be used for the purchase of equipment for the Waiakea and Kailua rescue <br /> stations to increase the safety and efficiency while engaged in high angle rescues. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of money, securities, or other personal property or of real <br /> <br /> estate or any interest in real estate. <br /> <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to Mr. Reed E. Hisamoto, Donor Services Assistant, Hawaii <br /> <br /> Community Foundation, Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Fund, 65-1279 Kawaihae Road, Parker <br /> Square, Room 203.
