NOW Tf-IEREFORE, Agency and Grantee for and in consideration of the <br /> covenants, conditions, agreements, and stipulations hereinafter expressed, do mutually agree as <br /> follows: <br /> A. SCOPE OF SERVICES. <br /> Grantee shall, in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by <br /> Agency, and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Contract, use the funds received <br /> under this Contract for the purposes stated herein and in accordance dvith the "Application For <br /> Grant" (Parts I through IV including all certifications required under Section C) attached hereto <br /> as Exhibit "A" and by reference incorporated herein. It is understood that this Contract includes <br /> as a part hereof any rules, relevant directives or instructions issued by the United States or the <br /> Agency, including the provisions of the federal Office of Management and Budget circulars and <br /> the effective edition of the Office of Justice Programs' financial manual entitled "Financial <br /> Guide." <br /> B. TERM OF CONTRACT. <br /> This Contract shall be in effect for the period from March 1, 2002 to <br /> and including February 28 2003 unless this Contract is sooner terminated as hereinafter <br /> provided or unless this Contract is extended in accordance with Section L. of this Contract. <br /> C.
