<br /> Them is no other coastline in the State of Hawaii like the North Kohala <br /> coastline. Nowhere else is there a comparable continuous undeveloped <br /> stretch of coastland containing so large a diversity of sacred sites and <br /> fishing areas. This area is vital to preserving the life style of our local <br /> community. It is also essential to the preservation of Hawaiian culture <br /> and tradition. <br /> At least 1 1 subdivisions are pending on the North Kohala coastline. We <br /> need the County Council to expedite a moratorium without delay, even a <br /> temporary moratorium. If this is not done soon, "the North Kohala <br /> coastline will be lost forever!"
