To address this and other weaknesses in the Chapter, the Department had <br /> submitted a revision currently identified as Bill No. 262. Although the revision permits consideration <br /> of this type of matter, the applicant must still show, to the satisfaction of the Chief Engineer, that the <br /> request would not interfere with the safe use of the public walkway. In this case, we would not support <br /> this action as employees from Basil's must cross or maneuver azound pedestrian traffic.
