Over the years, I have had numerous complaints <br /> from potential patrons. Their complaint is that the downstairs <br /> diningroom of the restaurant is not large enough to handle disabled <br /> patrons and families with baby strollers. Basils is geared for <br /> casual and affordable dining with the family in mind. <br /> I have studied possible ways to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. <br /> The best way to have adequate room and easy access would be tb place <br /> some tables outside of the restaurant, off the sidewalk thoroughfare. <br /> I have measured the area and with the priority of normal, safe, side- <br /> walk traffic in mind. I feel that I can accommodate these customers. <br /> I have surveyed the businesses along Alii Drive and believe that <br /> these individuals have a difficult time accessing any restauants. <br /> I would kindly appreciate your consideration in this matter. I will <br /> take all precautions and follow all of your recommendations so that <br /> all patrons may have the necessary access and ease when they dine. <br /> I look forward to hearing from the City Council. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> l / <br /> C. .
