COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. z62 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 03 <br />~! <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 <br />EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, TO ESTABLISH PARKING ZONES AT THE <br />AUPUNICENTER. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 1Q, division 7, section 24-292. Schedule 40 (8 hour parking meter <br />zones) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition), is amended by adding the following to be <br />appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />The followin¢ areas are desienated as maximum eight hour parkin¢ at [he rate of twenty- <br />five cents per two-hours: <br />(a) South Hilo <br />(1) Aununi Center parkin¢ lot, specifically marked single row of stalls <br />fronting Kilauea Avenue, Monday to Fridayjexcludin¢ holidays) <br />during the hours of 7'00 a m to 5'00 n m or as otherwise specified der <br />facility." <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-284. Schedule 32 (Two hour parking <br />areas), subsection (c) South Hilo of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition) is amended by adding <br />the following [o be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />"O Aupuni Center public parkin¢ Cwo rows of stalls alone and adjacent to the northwest <br />(Pauahi Street) and a sin¢le row of stalls glop adjacent to flxe southwest (Kilauea <br />Avenue) sides of the Aununi Center buildin¢ Monday to Friday (excludin hg olidays~ <br />during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 n.m. or as otherwise specified per facilitX" <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this <br />ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or <br />circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the <br />ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the <br />provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
