The undersign request changes to <br /> the codes which will improve our capacity to promote our businesses while cuntinuin}; to <br /> foster the `unique, unhurried atmosphere' of our Village (e.g,; increases in si::e and <br /> number of allowable signs). <br /> 2) Equity needs to be established within the Kailua Village Sign codes. <br /> All small businesses should be treated fairly and equitably within our county codes, <br /> however, real estate and construction businesses are currently exempt from the Kailua <br /> Village sign codes.
