PROSECUTING ATTORNEY <br /> The Prosecutor's Office has amended its budget to include <br /> licenses to access the Police RMS system and funds for three <br /> new positions (an investigator, a clerk, and a <br /> victim/witness counselor) to ease the increased workload. <br /> MASS TRANSIT <br /> The Transit budget has been amended to include the Federal <br /> Transit Administration grant. <br /> NONPROFIT GRANTS-IN-AID <br /> The appropriation for nonprofit grants has been allocated in <br /> accordance with the funding recommendations of the Committee <br /> on Human Services and Economic Development. <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> The Elderly Recreation Section has increased its activities <br /> budget in anticipation of additional fee sponsored classes. <br /> The Pana`ewa Soo has postponed the tiger enclosure repair in <br /> order to purchase more animals and a bucket attachment for <br /> the tractor. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT <br /> The budget for the Department of Environmental Management <br /> has been amended to include a new Senior Account Clerk <br /> position. <br /> DEBT SERVICE <br /> The debt service requirements have been adjusted as a result <br /> of the increase in the bond issue and the change in the SRF <br /> loan repayment schedules. <br /> <br /> HEALTH FUND <br /> The health plan expense has been amended with updated cost <br /> estimates. <br /> <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> The subsidy to the Solid Waste Fund has been reduced as a <br /> result of the revisions to the Solid Waste budget. <br /> <br />
