COUNTY OF HAWAII ~ STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. gh <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 0~3 9S <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 <br /> EDITION) RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-256, schedule 4 (30 mile per hour <br /> limit), subsection (e) Kohala, item (2), of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> (2) [Waimea/Kohala Road] Kawaihae Road (FAP Route 19), Mamalahoa Highway to <br /> (Opelo Road] the beginning of the State Highway.. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-257, schedule 5 (35 mile per hour <br /> limit), subsection (e) Kohala, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by deleting <br /> the following: <br /> [(6) Waimea to Kohala Road, from Opelo Road to the beginning of Project F.A.P.E. <br /> 11 A.] <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing <br /> this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or <br /> circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the <br /> ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the <br /> provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 4.
