Purpose of the speed reduction is to improve overall traffic safety <br /> along Kawaihae Road, from Lindsey Road to an area where Kawaihae Road enters State <br /> <br /> jurisdiction. <br /> The South Kohala "fraffc Safety Committee concurs and is supportive of our efforts to improve <br /> traffic safety along this section of Kawaihae Road. <br /> We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment.
