<br /> supplies and equipment needs as well as provide job training incentives and after school <br /> recreation activities for its students; and <br /> WHEREAS, Subgrantee is qualified to receive funds available to Hawaii under the Act; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Subgrantee has demonstrated the capacity to execute the objectives set forth <br /> in the proposal; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises set forth herein, the parties hereto <br /> agree as follows: <br /> A. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Subgrantee shall, in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by the County, <br /> and pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, use the funds received under this <br /> Agreement for the purposes stated herein and in accordance with the proposal and amendment <br /> submitted to the Hawaii County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney attached hereto as <br /> Attachment 1 and made a part hereof. <br /> ]t is understood that this Agreement includes as part hereof any rules, relevant <br /> directives or instructions issued by the Office of Youth Services or the County, including but not <br /> limited to the provisions of the Title program guidelines published in the Federal Kegister, <br /> August 1, 1994. <br /> B. PERIOD OF AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreement shall be in effect for the period from August 1, 2003 to and including <br /> August 30, 2004, a period hereinafter sometimes referred to as the "project period", provided that <br /> this contract will terminate on June 30, 2004 unless funds to cover the remaining period are <br /> appropriated and certified to by the Finance Director. If the contract is so terminated, or as <br /> otherwise hereinafter provided, contractor will be paid only for the work done until that time. <br /> <br />
