2. Develop, implement, and complete by the end of each budget <br /> period, a Criminal Reduction Unit (CRU) enforcement strategy <br /> that includes at least 30 curfew, truancy, gang sweeps and rave <br /> party dispersals in the County of Hawaii (East). <br /> 3. Disseminate the intelligence information to the Hawaii County <br /> Police Departmrnt and other appropriate groups as determined by <br /> the STATE. <br /> 4. Recruit, train, and maintain personnel for instruction of the Positive <br /> Alternative Gang Education (PAGE) curriculum; activities directly <br /> related to minimising juvenile delinquent behavior that may be <br /> related to gang involvement; and other gang-related matters. <br /> B. Purpose Area 2: Information Sharing and Collaboration <br /> 1. Actively participate in the Statewide Law Enforcement Gang Task <br /> Force (SLEGTF) and the YGRS Working Committee. <br /> 2. By the end of each budget period, complete at least 4 different <br /> effective ttainings/presentations of youth gang information and <br /> resources obtained by the SLEGTF quarterly meetings and/or <br /> annual trainings to significant, lazge, representative gatherings of <br /> concerned government, educational, enforcement, and community <br /> agencies. <br /> 3. Disseminate gang and related juvenile justice information with <br /> STATE, Department of Education, Family Court, enforcement <br /> agencies, and community agencies for the purpose of developing <br /> and implementing appropriate intervention strategies. <br /> 4. Work with the STATE to coordinate services with YGRS agencies, <br /> schools, and the community to idrntify and deal with issues of <br /> _ _ youth involyed_in gangs and youth at-risk for becoming involved <br /> in gangs. <br /> Attend and participate in meetings concerning the YGRS as <br /> coordinated by the STATE. <br /> <br /> C. Purpose Area 3: Public Awazrness Presentations/Programs <br /> By the end of each budget period, plan and conduct at least 9 effective <br /> seminars on the topic of gangs to gatherings of youth, pazrnts, educators, <br /> youth service staff, or government personnel.
