Ho`okena Community Water Association (HCWA) owns the current <br />5/8" water meter and will install a larger 1-1/2" water meter. The appropriation amount <br />represents the County's share of the replacement costs. <br />Currently, on busy beach days, the water system cannot provide sufficient water for both the <br />park and the HCWA residents. Some of the new fixtures in the park cannot be utilized <br />because of the lack of water pressure.
