On May 3, 2000 the Hawaii County Council approved and adopted Report No. <br /> <br /> 6 from the Committee On Humans Services and Economic Development that outlined amendments to <br /> <br /> Chapter 2 of the Hawaii County Code as suggested in the special study. These amendments <br /> recommended amendments were as follows: <br /> I . Establish the Finance Department as the central repository for all real property <br /> instruments and document,. <br /> 2. Require an annual tenancy report to the Council. <br /> 3. Included minimum conditions of real properly agreements. <br /> 4. Place the Council at the end of the negotiation process. <br /> 'These proposed amendments were introduced in Bill No. 98. The Council's Finance Committee first <br /> considered this measure in September 2001. At this meeting, the Finance Canmittee voted to deter Bill <br /> No. 98 so that additional lease clauses could he incorporated. <br /> Bill No. 9f3, Draft which is attached, reflects the supplementary amendments suggested by the Finance <br /> Committee. Specifically, the following items have been included in this latest draft: <br /> I . Section 2, revised to read, "Minimum Provisions and Clause."'. <br /> Provisions # 1.2,3,7, 8!>.12,13. 1~3, and U added. <br /> Please have Bill No. 98, Drafl 2 and the attached supporting documents referred to the Finance <br /> Committee for further consideration. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this measure, please contact Legislative Assistant <br /> Charmaine l'.
