Shipman, Limited <br /> TMK: (3) 1-6-143:041 <br /> We have reviewed the deed for the property above and recommend Council <br /> acceptance. <br /> For years, the Keaau Community Center has housed senior programs for the <br /> Elderly Activities Division and is staffed by their Program Director. It also serves <br /> an important role as a community gathering and meeting facility, and as such, is <br /> open to the public for reservations. It is the only available facility for this type of <br /> activity in the Keaau area, and therefore it is in the department's best interest to <br /> accept fee title. <br /> Preparation of preliminary ADA plans to address the site and bottom floor are <br /> ongoing, and the funding is available for completing future renovations for ADA <br /> accessibility. <br /> <br /> 194s~ <br /> <br />
