SOUTH HILO/PUNA: <br />Combined effort formed an Illegal Dumping Task Force to work with <br />community, county departments and major land owners to increase <br />responsible stewardship of large areas of vacant lands. <br />KAU: <br />One new NHW started <br />Gathered participants and facilitated the process of Hookena-Naalehu <br />Water Master Plan meetings for County Dept of Water Supply. <br />Gated a road near Kau High School to prevent late night nuisance. <br />Collaborative effort with DOE, Parks and Rec and DPW , with <br />volunteers to monitor and lock. <br />
