Department of Water Supply. Drainage improvements in conformance with requirements of <br /> <br /> the Hawaii County Department of Public will be installed. Finally, the applicant will install <br /> individual wastewater treatment systems in conjunction with construction of individual homes <br /> in compliance with State Department of Health regulations. <br /> As discussed above, the property lies within the Kealakekua Historic District. <br /> Reconnaissance of the parcel by the State Historic Preservation Division confirmed that no <br /> historic or cultural features are present on the parcel. The EA will provide further <br /> <br /> discussion on the relation of the proposed project to the general values of the district. <br /> <br /> The areas of investigation in the Environmental Assessment will include but not be limited to <br /> the following: water quality assurance; wastewater treatment; flora, fauna, and ecosystems; <br /> traffic impacts; geology, soils, and hazards; flooding and drainage impacts; social and <br /> <br /> community impacts; historic sites; and economic impacts. <br /> Again, I would appreciate your comments on any special environmental conditions or impacts <br /> related to the development.
