9. Develop/implement infrastructure/collaboration to sustain adequate level <br />of services (include police, prosecutors, etc.) (Years Two and Three) <br />10. Develop/implement strategy to ensure perpetuation of victim services. <br />Provide a balanced system and level of services to extend beyond the <br />current services. As a contingency plan, train volunteers (pro bono) to <br />maintain services in the event funding is decreased. (Year Three) <br />b. Increase accessibility to law enforcement, courts and service providers by <br />victims who are isolated by culture/language, disability and sexual orientation. <br />Specific Activities related to this Objective will include: <br />1. Develop competent interpreters. "Competent' in language, domestic <br />violence and/or sexual assault issues, policy and procedures of the court <br />system, personal bias etc. (Year One) <br />2. Develop sensitivity training curriculum for law enforcement, courts, <br />service providers. (Year One) <br />3. Include victims in the planning process. (Years One to Three) <br />4. Collect and compile multi -disciplinary research and practices on victim safety <br />and offender accountability (within the first three months) <br />2. Identify responsible party for collection and analysis of data ("who is <br />audience", "what is purpose") (within the first three months) <br />3. Issue preliminary recommendation report on standards within first six months <br />4. Develop agreement among agencies on training activities to be scheduled, <br />upon completion of selected curriculum material (Year One) <br />5.
