I live very close to the Keokeo barricade and I urge you to <br /> <br /> keep this barricade closed. Below, you will see a few of many known reasons why I feel <br /> the Keokeo barricade should stay closed. <br /> 1. The intersections at Holu and Ahikawa Streets and, Keokeo Street and Kaiminani <br /> Drive aze dangerous because of poor visibility. <br /> 2. Keokeo is busy with children, pets, and adult walkers. The street has low <br /> visibility, it's nazrow, and therefore is not suitable to handle any more traffic. <br /> 3. In the past there has been several caz accidents in the north-makai property at the <br /> comer of Holu and Ahikawa Street due to the dangerously sharp left turn. We <br /> need to learn from past experience and keep this safety issue in consideration. <br /> 4. There aze two new developments that aze required to dedicate their connector <br /> roads. This will take place this yeaz. I believe these roads would provide the best <br /> solution instead of putting our neighborhood at risk with the safety issues that we <br /> face if we open the Keokeo barricade. <br /> Thank you for taking the time in considering my request. 1 hope I can count on you to <br /> research this and do what is best for the surrounding neighborhoods. <br /> Dawn Walter <br /> Comm.
