• 00-40 • <br /> nonvoting members of the District Board, and others with an <br /> interest in the mission of the District. <br /> (c) District Board. The District Association shall be <br /> governed by the Board. The Board shall have a total of <br /> twenty-five (25) members, who shall be elected or appointed <br /> in accordance with the articles of incorporation of, and in <br /> the manner prescribed by the bylaws of, the District <br /> Association and as follows: <br /> (i) The fee simple owners and ground lessees of <br /> record of real property located within the District <br /> (which shall constitute a majority of the Board) shall <br /> elect fourteen (14) voting Board members. <br /> (ii) The commercial tenants leasing space within <br /> the District shall elect five (5) voting Hoard members. <br /> (iii) The Mayor of the City, or the Mayor's <br /> designee, shall be a voting member. <br /> (iv) The council member of the council district <br /> within which the majority of the Waikiki BID land area <br /> is located, or the council member's designated <br /> representative, shall be a voting member. <br /> (v) The chief of the Honolulu Police Department, <br /> or the chief's designated representative, shall be a <br /> nonvoting member. <br /> (vi) The City's director of the department of <br /> facilities maintenance, or such director's designated <br /> representative, shall be a nonvoting member. <br /> (vii) The City's director of the department of <br /> budget and fiscal services, or such director's <br /> designated representative, shall be a nonvoting member. <br /> (viii) The chair of Waikiki Neighborhood Board No. <br /> 9, or such chair's designated representative, shall be <br /> a nonvoting member. <br /> 6, ByyRnlPmPn ai a G.
