N more space is <br /> needed use a Wank shed eM attach ro this farm. <br /> Show <br /> Summary of Duties: of time <br /> Cares for and maintains landfills and transfer stations under adverse, obnoxious conditions; Practice, <br /> comply and assist in enforcing safety in the workplace. <br /> Examples of Duties: <br /> 1. Operates light motorized equipment, hand and power tools as required. 30 <br /> 2. Operates compactor equipment on refuse trailer, hydraulic power system on pickup trucks, and at 19 <br /> hydraulic pump houses. Services, maintains and Geans compactor equipment and refuse trailers. <br /> Assist mechanics, welders, and Equipment Operator III to repair equipment and facilities. 17 <br /> 3. Cleans, maintains, and repair solid waste facilities including access roads. Performs landscaping work <br /> and beata5fication of facilities, as directed by immediate supervisor. Sprays appropriate chemicals to <br /> control flies, weeds, odor, etc. 16 <br /> 4. Performs as "spotters° at solid waste facilities to identify and secure any prohibited materials and direct <br /> prohibited materials to appropriate storage locations. Prepares written reports concerning incidents. <br /> Advises public about rules and regulations related to solid waste disposal. Directs the public and <br /> commeraal haulers to appropriate dumping areas at solid waste facilities. May assist public (disabled) <br /> in disposing/ unloading trash from their vehiGes. Prevents scavenging at solid waste facilities. <br /> 5. Complies with applicable solid waste rules and regulations, and associated safety rules and policies. 6 <br /> Reports all incidents and accidents immediately to the immediate supervisor. <br /> 6. Maybe required for "call back to work°. Position may be required to perform weekend, shift and 6 <br /> overtime work. <br /> 7. Supervise temporary assistants such as laborers and other attendants when on temporary assignment 4 <br /> to supervisor. <br /> 8. Complete written forms in a timely manner. 2 <br /> 9. Performs other related duties as required. <br /> 4.
