SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> DEPOSIT BEVERAGE CONTAINER PROGRAM <br /> 1. The CONTRACTOR shall provide monitoring support including, but not limited to, <br /> the following: <br /> a. Monitor certified redemption centers to make sure the centers are following <br /> certification requirements; <br /> b. Monitor the handling and processing of materials by certified redemption <br /> centers to ascertain if they are in compliance with law; <br /> c. Asses site establishment of certified redemption centers for service to public; <br /> d. Identify communities where opportunities for redemption of deposit beverage <br /> containers are nonexistent or not practical; <br /> e. Determine need for State or County to assist in establishing redemption <br /> centers in a gap or rural area; <br /> f. Assist in securing sites and establishing redemption centers in areas of need; <br /> and <br /> g. Provide other monitoring support as needed. <br /> <br /> 2 . The CONTRACTOR shall provide technical assistance including, but not limited to, <br /> the following: <br /> a. Manage contracts between the County and certified redemption center <br /> operators; <br /> b. Provide technical assistance and support to private sector businesses actively <br /> developing or participating in the program; <br /> c. Assist in researching funding opportunities for recycled product research and <br /> market development; and <br /> d.
